From Frustration to Automation: How User Feedback Streamlined News Updates for Investor Relations Officers

After noticing customer difficulties through CSAT responses and user behaviour, I led an initiative to improve the UX and UI of News updates for Investor Relations Officers updating their Investor Relations Websites. By analyzing this feedback and conducting interviews, I identified key pain points, including cognitive overload and confusion with dates, files, and headline linking. I collaborated with product and engineering teams to develop a UX improvement plan focused on clearer language and a simplified UI. The result was a significant reduction in support requests related to news updates.

Spearheading the development of a new Platform Design System

Throughout my career at Q4, I had the opportunity to continuously improve our existing design system  and also built a net new design system from the ground up in Figma using design tokens, components, and variants aligned with the Q4 rebrand. This foundational system was crucial for ensuring consistency and scalability across the evolving platform, creating a consistent experience across multiple applications. Collaboratively worked with the entire Product Design team and was a member of the Design System committee to continuously evolve the Design system components, documentation, and accessibility.

Platform Vision: Creating an Interconnected Experience for Investor Relations Officers

I had an opportunity most designers do not get to participate in during their career: To develop a strategic, unified platform vision for a growing company. The project was driven by the challenge of offering disparate products and services for Investor Relations Officers which lacked integration, requiring separate logins and operating without shared data. To address this, the core goal was to envision and create an interconnected platform with a single point of entry for all applications. Native Mobile experience design

Throughout my career, I have been focused on crafting responsive experiences for Web and Mobile, as well as the opportunity to be part of a small team at Q4 building a native iOS and Android mobile version of our CRM providing core functionality to Investor Relations Officers on the go, Q4 Go

I was also part of a team at Think Research, working on a Virtual Care web and native iOS and Android app connecting physicians and patients for virtual health care appointments.
